On July 8, 2005, Special Act 05-5 "An Act Incorporating the Connecticut Supreme Court Historical Society" authorized the incorporation of the Connecticut Supreme Court Historical Society as a nonprofit corporation with the purpose of promoting and preserving the state's judicial and constitutional tradition through scholarship, memorials, publications and education.

Connecticut Supreme Court Historical Society

Featured Speaker - Jeff Benedict
Award-winning Investigative Journalist and Best-Selling Author of Nine Books

In 2009, Mr. Benedict released LITTLE PINK HOUSE: A True Story of Defiance and Courage (Grand Central Publishing, January 2009), which chronicles the epic story behind the U.S. Supreme Court's decision on eminent domain in Kelo v. New London. Mr. Benedict will be speaking about the Kelo case at the Annual Meeting.

Cocktails will be available beginning at 5:30 p.m. and dinner is to be served at 6:30 p.m. An invitation/reservation form will be available on the website and mailed to all members in mid-April.
