2.4-8 Learned Treatises
Revised to January 1, 2008
Among the items placed in evidence is
<title of treatise> that was introduced during the testimony of an expert
witness. That exhibit can be used by you only for the limited purpose of
determining what weight to give that witness' testimony concerning the subject
the treatise covers.
You should not use that exhibit as
independent evidence of the matters stated in the treatise, but only for the
purpose of assessing the credibility and reliability of the expert witness.
