3.6-5 Standard of Care
Applicable to Children
Revised to January 1, 2008
In considering whether or not a child
has been negligent, you are not to judge the child by the standard of care that
you would apply to an adult. The reasonable care required of a child is the
care that may be reasonably expected of children of similar age, judgment and
experience under similar circumstances.
