Directions:
From I-84 heading West
- Take the Sigourney Street exit
- Turn left at end of exit ramp
- Bear left at the split in the road
- Take a left at the next light
- Take the next right onto Capitol Avenue
- Follow Capitol Avenue, just past the Capitol Building, then look for the Lafayette statue
- Take the right just before the statue
- Bear right at the fork onto Lafayette Street
- 101 Lafayette will be on your right just after the stop sign
From I-84 heading East
- Take the Capitol Avenue exit
- Turn left at the end of the exit onto Capitol Avenue
- Take your first right just before the Lafayette statue
- Bear right at the fork onto Lafayette Street
- 101 Lafayette will be on your right just after the stop sign
From I-91 North or South
- Take the Capitol Avenue exit
- Keep to the far left
- At the traffic circle travel halfway around to Elm Street (on your right)
- Bear right onto Elm Street and follow it to the end (the Capitol building will be in front of you)
- At the light, turn left onto Trinity Street
- Stay in the left lane and take a left at the first light
- After passing the Lafayette Statue bear right onto Lafayette Street
- 101 Lafayette will be on your right just after the stop sign
Parking
Metered Parking is available on both sides of Lafayette and Washington Streets. The meters take only coins or credit cards. Public
Courthouse Parking is also available on Grand Street for $8.00 per day. To get to Grand Street go down Lafayette Street
past the Courthouse and juror parking lot and take your first right onto Grand Street, which is a one-way street.
Parking is available for Jurors on Lafayette Street adjacent to the Geographical Area 14 Courthouse. The first parking
lot on the right is for employees and the second lot is for Jurors. Provide your juror information to the Judicial Marshal
at the guard station and s/he will open the gate for you.
