State Court Interpreter Certification (Consortium) Program

Temporary Court Recording Monitor - (New London JD)
                                                                                   
The Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking qualified individuals for the Superior Court to record verbal testimony during courtroom proceedings using electronic equipment. Successful candidates will set up and test equipment; monitor recordings using earphones; maintain proper notes of proceedings; prepare transcripts; maintain records and files; and perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of clerical experience (college training may be substituted for up to one year of general experience) and the ability to produce typewritten material at a rate of 50 wpm. Salary: $14.25/hour. Potential eligibility for health benefits. Resumes only. No phone calls.
