In May, 2003, Governor John G. Rowland nominated him
to be a Judge of the Superior Court, and in June, 2003, he was
confirmed by the Legislature. He initially was assigned to
Geographic Area courts in New Haven, Milford and Bridgeport. In
June, 2004, he was assigned to the Superior Court for Juvenile
Matters in New Haven, and thereafter he was assigned to Superior
Courts for Juvenile Matters in Willimantic and Waterford.
In October, 2005, he began his assignment at the
Statewide Child Protection Session in Middletown, and in September,
2007, he became presiding judge of the Statewide Child Protection
Session, a position that he held through August, 2009.
In September, 2009, he began his assignment at the
Superior Court for Civil Matters at Middletown.
In March, 2010, Governor M. Jodi Rell nominated
him to be a Judge of the Appellate Court and on April 30, 2010, he
was confirmed by the Legislature.
