From
Winsted: Route 8 to Exit 42. Continue on 118W to Litchfield. At
intersection of 118 and 202 go straight onto 202. At 2nd traffic light
take a left. At this point you will be facing the Courthouse - a gray
stone building with a clock tower.
From
Torrington: Route 202W to Litchfield. At church take a sharp
right around corner. At 2nd traffic light take a left. At this point you
will be facing the Courthouse - a gray stone building with a clock
tower.
From
Thomaston: Route 254W to 118W. At intersection of 118 and 202,
go straight onto 202. Turn left at second traffic light. You will then
be facing the Courthouse - a gray stone building with a clock tower.
From
New Milford: Route 202E to Litchfield. As you approach center
the road will fork - bear left. At 1st traffic light take a right. At
this point you will be facing the Courthouse - a gray stone building
with a clock tower.
From
Goshen: Route 63S will bring you right in front of the
courthouse - a gray stone building with a clock tower.
From
Morris: Route 63N to Litchfield. At 4-way stop sign, take a
left. The courthouse will be on your left - a gray stone building with a
clock tower.
Parking: Free PARKING is available in the municipal parking
lot. Parking is limited and is on a first come first served basis.
Additional parking for jurors is available in the rear lot of St.
Anthony's church on South Street (Route 63).
Wheelchair Access
to the Litchfield JD courthouse is through a door on the left
side of the building. Ring the clerk's office using the buzzer
at the door; a Judicial Marshal will assist with entry from
there.
