Probate Practice Book Advisory Committee
Pursuant to Connecticut General Statues Section 45a-78, the Probate Court Administrator is
charged with recommending to the justices of the Supreme Court uniform rules of practice for the
probate courts. The last revision to the current Probate Practice Book was in 2000.
The Probate Court Administrator is embarking on a comprehensive revision to the Connecticut
Practice Book over the course of the next year. This project builds upon the improvements from
the recent structural changes to the probate court system, further strengthening professionalism
and fostering uniformity in the courts.
To assist with the formulation of recommended rules of probate practice, the administrator has
established the Probate Practice Book Advisory Committee comprised of probate judges and
staff, probate and estate attorneys and members of the public. The committee is chaired by the
administrator. |
