Probate Court Budget Committee
Public Act 09-114
establishes a Probate Court Budget
Committee consisting of the Probate Court Administrator, who
shall serve as chairperson of the committee, and two judges
of probate appointed by the Connecticut Probate Assembly.
Not later than June 30, 2010, and annually thereafter, the
committee shall establish:
(1) A
compensation plan, which plan shall include employee
benefits, for employees of the courts of probate,
(2) staffing levels for each court of probate, and
(3) a miscellaneous office budget for each court of
probate.
The
committee shall report annually to the Governor and the
General Assembly about any potential cost savings and the
committee’s efforts to reduce expenses in the probate court
system.
The
committee is made up of three members:
