Live chat works best for questions that can be answered quickly by using online resources. Please use our lawlibrarians@jud.ct.gov email reference service for more complicated questions or when our chat service is unavailable.

Send an email to one of our reference staff at lawlibrarians@jud.ct.gov. On weekdays you can expect an answer in 24 hours or less, staffed by Connecticut Judicial Branch Law Librarians. Submit your email question anytime. Questions are answered Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., usually within 24 hours of receipt.
